On the 18th century, golden age of the French wood paneling, the wealth of the powerful was displayed on the walls of houses. The family house taken over by Guillaume Féau is a part of this tradition of French classical “Arts Décoratifs”. Over 1200m² under a huge skylight in the heart of Paris, more than several thousand fragments of decorations full of history are stored. The Féau house represent a precious ornamental repertoire serving the imagination of big designers.
After Féau house discovery, « vous êtes ici » brings you in the workshops where carvers and painters give a second life to the big historical decorations, or reconstruct them. A unique French know-how, that is exported inside the New York, Shanghai or Moscow apartments.
